confirmed before work.
01 / OUR MAIN THING
The everyday fixtures you use every day. Small, accessible repairs, not new plumbing systems or hidden pipe work.
PLUMBING-FIRST HANDYMAN HELPWorn washers or cartridges, loose handles, and small fixture adjustments. Parts availability and access determine the scope.
Ask about this fixFlappers, chains, and fill-valve parts inside an existing tank. No relocating a toilet or repairing a sewer line.
Ask about this fixAccessible drain-trap seals and slip-joint connections. The leak must be controlled first; concealed or supply-line damage needs a specialist.
Ask about this fixA like-for-like, screw-on showerhead or a connection seal. A simple refresh without opening a wall or changing the shower valve.
Ask about this fixA sticky sink stopper, worn pop-up part, or clogged faucet aerator. Little parts that make everyday use feel better.
Ask about this fixRemove failed surface caulk and reseal a small area. Water damage, mold, or failed waterproofing needs assessment beyond a cosmetic fix.

A few useful fixes for the things you touch every day. Small adjustments, light hardware work, and surface touch-ups.
Adjust a hinge, tighten a handle, or replace a simple drawer component. We work with the cabinet you already have.
Ask about this fixA loose hinge or misaligned latch on a standard interior door. Structural movement, entry security, and fire-rated doors are outside our scope.

Ask about this fixReplace a worn strip or a simple door sweep where the frame is sound. A small improvement, not a window or door replacement.
Ask about this fix03 / JUST OUTSIDE
The small outdoor annoyances, handled. Existing hardware and surface-level watering repairs, not landscaping or construction.
Adjust or replace simple hardware on a sound garden gate. No new fencing, structural posts, or pool-safety gate work.
Ask about this fixA short, accessible section of surface tubing, a connector, or an emitter on an existing system. No trenching or new irrigation layout.
Ask about this fixAdjust an existing spray head or replace an accessible, like-for-like part. Underground leaks, valves, and electrical controllers need a specialist.

Ask about this fixSMALL ON PURPOSE
These are examples, not flat-rate offers. Condition, access, parts, and permit requirements can change what a job involves.
We don't take emergency callouts, gas or electrical work, water heaters, sewer backups, concealed pipe leaks, structural repairs, major remodels, or permit-required work.
We won't split a larger project into smaller invoices to make it fit. If the work is outside our scope, we'll recommend contacting an appropriately licensed professional.
QuickFix is not a licensed contractor. Our under-$500 focus is a service limit, not a substitute for checking whether a job requires a permit or licensed trade.
CONTROL THE WATER. THEN PLAN THE REPAIR.
QuickFix is not an emergency service. This is general safety guidance, not a diagnosis. Don't wait for us to reply if water is escaping or damage is spreading.
If there is an immediate threat to safety, leave the area and call emergency services.
If you can safely identify and reach its shutoff valve, close it gently to stop the water at that fixture. Sinks and toilets often have their own valves. Do not force a stuck or corroded valve.
If water keeps flowing, use your home's main water shutoff only if you know where it is and can operate it safely. If you're unsure, call your water utility or an emergency licensed plumber. Don't operate utility-owned meter valves.
Stay away from water near outlets, cords, appliances, or an electrical panel. Don't enter standing water or touch wet electrical equipment. Get professional help rather than attempting electrical work.
Once the source is off and the area is safe, move dry belongings away and catch small residual drips with a container. Keep the fixture out of use. Spreading moisture, sewage, or soaked building materials needs prompt professional attention.
That may point to a larger issue, and restoring a home's water urgently is not our service. A main shutoff alone doesn't tell us the repair's size, though. Once the situation is safely controlled, you can describe what happened and we'll assess whether a small, accessible repair fits. For an uncontrolled leak or urgent loss of water, contact a licensed plumber instead of waiting for QuickFix.
A LITTLE ATTENTION GOES A LONG WAY
Simple observation and a planned repair beat ignoring a drip. These checks don't require taking anything apart.
Locate your fixture and house valves, keep access clear, and make sure household members know where they are. Ask your water provider for help identifying them. Don't force or test a valve that looks damaged or corroded.
Look for new moisture under sinks, toilet sounds between uses, or a recurring puddle outside. Note where and when it happens. Don't turn a leaking fixture back on just to reproduce a problem for us.
Only wait when the water is controlled and the area is safe. Leave the affected fixture out of use and check that moisture isn't spreading. If conditions worsen, contact an emergency licensed plumber; a bucket or temporary patch is not a repair.
Describe the fixture, the symptoms, any shutoff used, and whether the leak is fully stopped. Tell us your city or ZIP code and timing preference. Renters should arrange the property owner's approval first.
